HALCO Supporting Macmillan Cancer Support
This Macmillan Coffee Morning we donated £360 after our latest FUNdraising Event at HALCO HQ!

The first Macmillan Coffee Morning happened way back in 1990. It was a relatively small affair with a simple idea: guests would gather over coffee and donate the cost of their cuppa to Macmillan in the process. It was so effective, they did it again the next year – only this time nationally. Since then, Coffee Morning has raised over £290 million for Macmillan Cancer Support.
A relatively simple concept - or so we thought!

Two teams and 36 coffee beans!
The Mission: Get your team coffee beans from Point A to Point B one at a time WITHOUT using your hands!
As always, with any HALCO FUNdraising activity (check out our Unicef Sports day if you haven't already) a full team turned out to show off their competitive prowess and we were not disappointed!

There were several adopted techniques...

A slow and steady knees together approach during the demonstration by Marketing Manager (and event organiser) Reuben Brown |
| And, the Rabbit Hop, adopted by Marián Zima (East EU Business Development) and HALCO's Product Development Manager Joel Brown. | ![]() |

Which proved to be a popular tactic amongst a number of other team members! |
| Tom and Magda took a much more delicate approach... | ![]() |

And UK Account Manager Kent Harris went for a heads down, power jump technique - clearly wanting to take a win for the team! |
| Invisible skipping ropes were called in for Ana-Marie, Mina and Anna... | ![]() |
