Removing latex from the material composition while preserving product functionality presented a technical challenge, particularly for applications requiring reliable daily use and patient comfort.

Our Solution

Working closely with the customer, CONNTEX custom converted the FLEX Hook & Loop material to create a completely latex-free solution. Through specialist material development and testing, the latex component was successfully removed while retaining the fastening performance, comfort, and reliability required for medical applications.

The result was a bespoke fastening solution that aligned with the client’s exact product specifications and supported safer use across sensitive healthcare environments.
